Swedish Language Course . . . it’s done!

So the start of my study comes closer and closer ... and so i’ve to practice my written english ... and that’s why I am writing in english now ... at least for this entry ;-)

Last week was our last week from the language course. There were some social activities as you had already read about (trip to Aspö and boattrip to stensham). In addition there were a few smaller events which I would like to mention. We played one of Swedens most popular games „Kubb“. For a detailed instruction of the game and some photos see Simone’s Blog. On Friday evening we were at an Open-Air cinema in Brunnspark. It was an promotion viewing (free entrance) from the local cinema "Ronneby Filmstudio" and they showed the new animation-film Coraline. And last but not least we arranged a „Good-Bye-Barbeque“, because some of the students left after the exam on monday.

Yesterday was a big day! – My first exam here in Sweden! – The language course is finished now and therefore we had to proof our skills in the swedish language ;-) The exam consisted of two parts: oral and written. It was really hard but I didn’t give up so easily!! Today we got back our exams – PASSED ;-) – and afterwards there was an „graduation ceremony“ at which the diplomas were awarded to everybody.

Tonight there was a final crayfish-party (organized by Lina). Another funny game which is usally played on parties here is the Tipspromenad. There are different questions placed in a circuit. For each questions there are three different answers possible (1, X, 2) and the people have to look for the right answers (means to know or to guess) in small teams. The team with the most right answers wins the game.

Now I am going to enjoy some days off ...
